Operator: 9-1-1, what is your emergency?
Caller: Yeah, I found a dead body. And I'm trapped. I need help, I need the police.
Operator: What is your location, sir?
Caller: I don't know. I'm in a building... I don't recognize it. [shuffling]
Operator: Is there anything around that you could use to identify your location, sir?
Caller: I don't know. [shuffling] But, I need help quick. I, I think I've been kidnapped, and there's a dead body here, I need help.
Operator: What is your name, sir?
Caller: Er, Weylyn. Weylyn Lewis.
Operator: Okay, Mr. Lewis. I'm going to need to know where you are, to send the police over. Can you describe your surroundings?
Caller: Er... it looks, er... run down. Concrete walls, erm, graffiti. The body is a young woman, she looks like... she might be in her twenties.
Operator: Okay, thank you, sir. Are there any windows around?
Caller: Oh god.
Operator: Sir? Are you there?
Caller: She's still alive, maybe. I think I saw her move. [faint, distant groaning] Oh my god, she's alive. Please send help.
Operator: Mr. Lewis, I need to know where you both are. Are there any windows nearby?
Caller: Er, I see one that's boarded up. [shuffling]
Operator: Can you see anything outside?
Caller: I'm really trying. There's just some light coming through, but I can't make anything out. Hold on... [brushing against phone] No, I can't do anything. It's shut. It's nailed shut.
Operator: Okay, sir. You talked about a woman who's there with you. Can you tell me what condition she's in? Can you give me her name?
Caller: [muffled noises] She's not responding. I think she may have passed out.
Operator: Are you restrained in any way? Is she restrained?
Caller: There's a door that's locked or something. No, I'm not restrained, but I'm trapped. I can't see any restraints on her.
Operator: Okay, sir, I'm trying to dispatch the police to your location but the nearest location I have from your provider puts you in a forest near Gaza, New Hampshire. But you told me you're in a concrete building?
Caller: New Hampshire?
Operator: Yes, New Hampshire.
Caller: I've never been to New Hampshire.
Operator: You said you might have been kidnapped? Is it possible you have been taken there?
Operator: Mr. Lewis?
Caller: I don't know. I don't remember. I'm from California, I don't even know where that is. I don't know how I got here.
Operator: That's okay, Mr. Lewis. The police have been dispatched. Stay on the line with me, okay? I may need you to check if you can see or hear the police approaching when they reach the location. Okay?
Caller: Yeah. Wait, is it possible that the location is wrong? You said that you have the wrong location?
Operator: I have you in a forested area, near Gaza.
Caller: Is it possible you can't get a good fix because this phone doesn't have my... because this phone isn't mine?
Operator: It's just the best we can do, sir, I'm sorry.
Operator: Can you tell me whose phone it is you're using?
Caller: I don't know. It was on the floor.
Operator: The floor of the room you're in right now?
Caller: Yeah.
Operator: Okay. Mr. Lewis, is there anything else you can tell me about the room, or how you got in there?
Caller: I don't know how I got here. Erm, there's an empty closet against the wall, a mattress on the...
Operator: Sir?
Caller: [noises, shuffling]
Caller: [whispers] I hear someone coming. [creaking]
Caller: [whispers] I'm hiding inside the closet.
Caller: [noises, breathing] [whispers] Please don't talk for a few moments.
Caller: [thudding, woman screams]
Caller: [whispers] Oh my god, he's chopping her legs off. Oh my god, please help me. [background screams]
Operator: Sir, the perpetrator probably knows you are there if he put you there. Did he leave the door unlocked?
Caller: [whispers] Yeah. [background screams] [whispers] Holy fucking shit.
Operator: You have to tell me where both of you are, okay Mr. Lewis? If the man's attention is on the woman right now, can you sneak out and run away?
Caller: [louder background screams] You want me to run?
Operator: I'm trying to keep you alive, sir. Police don't have a good location. This may be your only chance at rescue.
Caller: [loud background sobbing] [whispers] Okay, fuck it. Fuck it. You're right. I'm just gonna wait until...
Caller: [loud screams, shuffling, yelling] [panting] Oh my god, oh my god. I'm in a... big stairwell, like an apartment. I'm going down, it looks like there's about five floors to the bottom. [echoing clattering]
Caller: [panting] They're all wearing masks, I just glanced into a room. I think there's more people here. They're killing other people.
Operator: Try to get out of there, sir, we'll try to help everyone.
Caller: [shuffling] Shit. [echoed clattering] Shit, they're after me.
Caller: [deafening noise as phone is dropped (?), then picked back up] Hello? Hello, are you still there?
Operator: Yes, I'm still here. Are you alright?
Caller: [panting and clattering] How fast can you get the fucking police over here?
Operator: Five to ten minutes, Mr. Lewis, as soon as I can confirm your location.
Caller: [cursing] Okay, okay. I can get there. I can make it. You just need a street, a number, something like that, right?
Operator: That would be the best way, otherwise maybe if you can give me a landmark of some sort...
Caller: [panting heavily] Motherfucker. [yelling, followed by loud thud]
Operator: Mr. Lewis? Mr. Lewis?
Caller: [panting] The sunlight isn't real. It's fake. It's all fake.
Operator: What's fake?
Caller: [yelling] The sunlight is fake! It's... underground or something- no! No! [scuffle]
Operator: Sir? Mr. Lewis, are you there?
Caller: ...Hello. [distant screaming]
Operator: Mr. Lewis?
Caller: No. Am I speaking to Amanda? [screaming fades out]
Operator: Excuse me?
Caller: Amanda Barnes, 911 operator. That's you, isn't it?
Operator: Who am I talking to?
Caller: We'll talk soon. You can call off the cops, they won't find this place. But we'll find you. You live alone, just your cat, right? [chuckles] You'll be in paradise with us soon.
